It is an honor to have known Don. His writing, editing, and presence and conversations with him have been a significant influence on my own thinking.

Update 4

Hello Friends, Family and "Fans",

I am still processing all the stress from yesterday. Many very critical decisions must be made now and Don is still very, very sick. Thankfully,
he slept horizontally last night at my insistence, and he slept fairly well from what the ICU nurse told me at 4 AM. I, on the other hand,
tossed and turned most of the night between prayer and developing a plan of action. Don is able to drink water now and he is drinking a lot -
